Other coverings, such as carpets or EVA foams, are often laid in the cockpit area of motorboats. These coverings in particular are not a long-term alternative to teak, as they get dirty very quickly, absorb unpleasant odours or become damaged under load.

After a long search for a deck covering for our motorboat, I came across the HLF marine covering on the Internet. I was impressed by the description and the look. A visit to the Rettich company convinced me completely. Mr Rettich showed me how this covering is manufactured. Very high precision when handling the templates and layouts, during production on the CNC milling machine and then the perfect manual work. The HLF deck is now another year old and we still think it's great that we opted for it!
I was looking for a new deck for my steel veranda because my teak deck was getting on in years ( 50 ) and unfortunately had no more tightness!
